King George's Medical University, Lucknow (initialized as KGMU Lucknow), is a Medical College established in the year 2002. Formally, It was known as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University. The Institute was originally known as King George's Medical College (established in 1911), and later on converted into a university an act passed by the government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002. The University has the total intake of 1250 undergraduates students (including 280 for the dental field) and 450 postgraduate students. Taking admission in KGMC Lucknow can help the student join the medical services as a talented doctor and help the humanitarian cause of curing diseases. The MBBS course has a duration of four and a half years and the total annual intake is 250 students.
