Culture and Religion

The cultural fabric of India is pigeonholed by diverse ethnic and religious groups as compared to other destinations in the world. It has been observed that India is a convergence of many different communities and religions living together in harmony. Indian Population is quite polygenic and astonishingly merges various races and cultures. Besides this numerous castes, there are about eight "major" religions and 15-odd languages spoken in various dialects. Also there is a substantial number of tribes and sects.
